A deteriorating restaurant, lovingly remodelled into a sleek and considered country house. Every detail was chosen to honour what was there — the bones of the old building held, and the new layered in with intention. Even the artwork was made for this house, commissioned specifically for this client.
The brief was to honour the old without being nostalgic about it — reclaimed beams sitting alongside terrazzo and brass, each material chosen to earn its place.
