Residence Care

Design oversight for second homes and vacation properties.

A second home or rental property requires a different kind of attention — consistent, discerning and ongoing. Residence Care is FŌKL's recurring design oversight service, created to keep a home feeling considered, cared for and beautifully maintained throughout the year.

We oversee the interiors, presentation and overall guest experience on a scheduled basis — noticing what has worn, faded, disappeared or simply stopped working, and recommending what should be refreshed, restored or reconsidered.

Seasonal Two visits per year

For second homes and vacation properties that benefit from a thoughtful reset before and after peak season.

Each visit includes a room-by-room design assessment, review of furnishings, textiles, linens, lighting, kitchenware and overall presentation, followed by a concise Residence Report with recommendations for anything that should be refreshed, replaced or reconsidered.

Quarterly Four visits per year

Our recommended level of care for active vacation rentals and frequently used second homes.

Quarterly visits allow us to notice the gradual changes that are easily missed day to day — worn linens, faded textiles, mismatched replacements, tired furnishings and the small details that affect how a home looks and feels. Each visit is followed by a Residence Report and clear recommendations for next steps.

Signature Quarterly care + annual styling refresh

Our most considered level of ongoing Residence Care, for owners who want a closer design relationship with FŌKL throughout the year.

Includes four Residence Care visits, an annual hands-on styling and refresh session, priority access for smaller design needs, and dedicated sourcing and design consultation throughout the year.

Residence Care includes design oversight, assessment and recommendations. Sourcing, procurement, custom furnishings, installation, repairs and larger design work are available separately.

Residence Care is designed to work alongside existing property management — never to replace it. While your property manager oversees operations, bookings and maintenance, FŌKL focuses on the interiors, presentation and design integrity of the home.

We are a quiet, reliable layer of care focused entirely on how the home looks and feels. We are happy to coordinate directly with your property management team.
